The Silver Surfers Story

 

My name is Jon Axon and I created Silver Surfers after I discovered that more and more of my time was beginning to be taken up by the retired members of my family who were looking to develop their basic computer knowledge and use of the internet. It was soon very clear that computer technology had quickly left this older generation behind, so I created some tailored work packages to help them develop their basic skills and understanding. Through referrals I now have a very good client base all over East and South Devon and of course they still include those first family members!

We are patient, understanding and professional. We are all knowledgable with computers, iPads, tablet devices and smartphones. All tutors have experience in teaching and they tailor sessions solely to the client and their computer. We don't use jargon and learning takes place at the client's own pace, in their own home. If you would like to learn with friends then we can do joint sessions.

 

Our home based sessions appeal to retired people who might be looking to learn about email, web cams, Skype, tablets and smart phones, so that they can stay in better touch with friends and family.
